The best MODS for Sims 3?

I am looking for the best MODS for Sims 3.  I want MODS that allow me to just put full autonomy on and watch the Sims live their lives: get a job, get married or not, go out to restaurants, make frie...

@SuperNTG  The main mod you want for this is NRaas StoryProgression.  SP pushes inactive sims to do everything from go to work and (try to) get promoted to sit in the park typing up a novel on their laptops.  Running it on one of the higher speeds can drag down performance somewhat, depending on how many sims are in the save and the speed of your computer hardware, so pick a balance that works for you.

SP gives lots of notifications by default: this sim gained a skill, that sim was late for work or school, these two sims are now a couple or maybe had a "software failure" and are now unexpectedly expecting.  If you don't want to see so many stories, you can cut them down by subject or by groups of sims.

SP only works on inactive sims, so you'll need to choose one active one that you don't push around.  If there are other sims in the household, you can set them as unselectable using NRaas MasterController, and SP will act on them too.

This is not directly your question, but I'd highly recommend adding NRaas ErrorTrap, Overwatch, and Register for the overall health of your saves.  You can find more information about them and MasterController here:

The NRaas site has extensive documentation as well, with each mod having its own page listing every available interaction and what it does.  That site is also the best place to ask for guidance on specific settings for a given mod.
