The redeem on the sims website only has 4 boxes but my serial number needs 5? Please help me

I used to have sims 3 but I got a macbook so for Christmas I got The Sims 3, which was compatible with my macbook, but for some reason my disk says 'no disk' after I installed it and try to play it, so I want to redeem my code online and as I typed it in it says enter code and has 4 boxes with all up needs 20 digits my serial number has 25 digits (5 boxes) how do I redeem the code? please please please I have been trying to set this up for 3 days and I can't find the solution.

Did you try here ?https://www.thesims3.com/registeragame.htmlIt's 5 boxes at 4 digits which is 20 digits. Don't think it's 25 digits anywhere.4 boxes at 4 digits is redeeming limited editon and other Sims 3 Store codes.

Yeah, my serial number is 20 digits and the redeem code that I need (assuming it is the serial code) is 16 digits

Hi,&nbsp;In the bottom of the Home and community site of The Sims 3, there is my account. Under that there is a list of things and you can find both register a game and redeem a code.&nbsp;Register a game is the one that has 5 boxes.Redeem a code is the one that has&nbsp;4 boxes.I hope this helps.&nbsp;&nbsp;
