I keep getting this error code for both Pets and Ambitions when I enter in the appropriate serial number. There are three sets I'm trying to obtain, which are the Ultimate Career Bundle, the Paws and...

They are the serial codes with the game from my electronic receipt. I'm not sure if there is another product key/serial number somewhere that I should be using, but it's the only one I found and it also came with the messages that I should be receiving x, y, and z free when I register my game.

If you already have the expansions installed, and are trying to redeem the bonuses, then you do not enter those codes where you register a game.  Go to

https://store.thesims3.com/myAccount.html and select "Redeem a code".   Hope this helps.
