The Sims 3 - Oops! We are not able to process your request.

I figured out a solution that worked for me and maybe you guys can try if you haven't. What worked for me was going throught the sign up process in internet explorer and when the form asks if you want to use the same alias choose a new one instead of a pre-existing one. Hopefully that is able to help. Oh and I also did not enter my sims3 key until after the account was actually created not sure it that really matters though
