@nessatay2223 What packs do you currently have installed, and what world(s) are you currently playing in? I've probably asked you this before, but please list them anyway in case the answer has changed.
Hi @puzzlezaddict I'm hoping you'd be able to help me also. I've read a lot of threads already & I don't understand what's going wrong. I used to play this years ago on an old PC and found the box today so tried to put it on my Mac. I downloaded the 64-bit version from Origin. Every time I try to launch it crashes. I've tried to delete the version.tag file, didn't work. Tried moving sims folder to desktop, didn't work. Tried to update and repair game from Origin, didn't work. Tried disabling origin in game, didn't work. Origin also downloaded the late night, high end loft stuff, and island paradise packs but when it shows up on my game library it says they need to download again. From what I've read the packs aren't compatible on this 64bit version which I'm ok with but I can't even get the actual game to load. Also, I'm not sure these would interfere with this game being played since it seems to be a common issue with most macs and this game but a few years ago I did upgrade my logic board, battery, ram and hard drive. I greatly appreciate any help you could provide!
These are my specs-
MacOS High Sierra version 10.13.6
MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2011)
2.2 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB

@6b62724f0a4d2139 Your Mac is a little too old to support Metal, which means it also can't run the 64-bit version of Sims 3. You'll need to uninstall and then install the 32-bit version instead.
When you install Late Night, you'll need to apply a workaround to get the pack to work:

And when you install Island Paradise, you'll also need to copy some data from LN into a folder for IP:
High-End Loft Stuff installs properly on its own.
And please run the Super Patch (digital download version) to manually patch the game to 1.67. The launcher doesn't always do a thorough job on its own.

Hi, I am having a similar problem. My game will crash after I save. I just updated to Monterey and my old save is in my game, but I think there are some issues with it. Here are my specs:
macOS Monterey Version 12.1
Macbook Pro (15-inch, 2017)
Processor 2.8 GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB
I'm not sure if Monterey will let me download the 32-bit version

@krabby_pattiess Do you use iCloud, is it syncing the contents of Documents, and if so, is it full or close to it?
