the Sims 3-Game won't update at all

So I got a new computer and downloaded the sims 3. Then I started the long update to the newest version. I didn't see the end of the download but after it disappered the game remained unupdated. I've tryed reinstalling the game but nothing changed. I tryed using the manual patch but that also poped up with something and didn't let me continue. All I want is to be able to play the new version with my expantion packs :mansad:
