The sims 3 interaction bug with insects

Hello. I installed The Sims 3 and some add-ones 3 days ago. Today i noticed that the sim can not catch insects-butterflies or interact with them in any way, this causes problems. I looked everywhere for solutions, but it seems that no one has come across with a such problem. Please help me. I already tried to "Repair Game" in Origin, but it did not help.

  • @NanaG196  Okay, for the insect issue, please use the other thread if you want to post about it.  There's no fix, but a couple of workarounds are using the harvester (Ambitions) in the vicinity or training a pet to collect insects.

For the other issue, please let me know what world you're currently playing in, which packs you currently have installed, and whether you use mods or custom content.  It's fine if you do; I just need to know to take that into account.

Please also attach your deviceconfig.log to a post; it's in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3.  (You'll need to manually open the folders; the file won't show up in a search.)  You can delete your user and computer names, about 25 lines down, but there's nothing else in that file that can identify you.

Yes. I play 64-bit metal on iMac pro. But after this issue another one started. Game started crashing after 5 minutes of launch. and I have no reply from EA support. Here is the screen shoot of the issue report, if it helps.
