MelvinTheReaper Please test in a clean user folder. I'm not saying you need to delete everything you've already installed; this is about putting it aside for the sake of testing. Remove or rename the Sims 3 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts, and the game will create a new one when you open the launcher. Install a few Exchange items, not a whole pile at once; you can reuse the files in Downloads inside the old Sims 3 folder. Start the game, confirm that the downloads are there, quit, restart your computer, and look again, after however long it usually takes for your content to disappear.
