@eleckto01  Thanks for the dxdiag.  As you probably know, your computer is more than strong enough to handle TS3 and all its packs, so the graphics glitches you're seeing aren't due to insufficient hardware.  It might help though to try to get your card formally recognized by the game, and to fix the texture memory override as well.  If you're interested, I can walk you through that process, but it's probably better to handle it through PMs.

There is one potential issue I see with your system.  If you have TS3 installed on your small C drive, you'll probably run out of storage space soon.  You're fine now, but as you accumulate more saves, and they run longer, your game folder will take up more space.  The 34 GB you have free now is barely enough as it is.  And of course if you install other packs, they'll take up space as well.

So if you don't want to have to constantly monitor your free storage, and transfer all the files you're not currently using to your larger D drive, it might be better to install TS3 on D.  You'd need to uninstall the game, clean your computer's registry with a tool like Piriform's CCleaner (free download), and direct Steam to reinstall to D.  You'd also want to redirect your Documents folder to D.  Of course, if you've already done this, you're fine; just keep an eye on your free storage.

When you say the game glitches every time your sims have a baby, do you mean your existing save, or a new save as well?  You don't have to test it; I was just wondering.  And does it still help if you quit to desktop, clear your cache files, and reload?  If so, that might be the way to handle the issue.  TS3 is weird sometimes, and we have to just accept it and work around the more persistent glitches.  But the pet fur issue should probably be addressed; the graphics card recognition would be the place to start.

@eleckto01  Okay, but does the glitch disappear after you've quit, deleted your cache files, and reloaded?  Are you testing in the same world, or different ones, and are you using different sims for the tests?

Regardless, you can try playing in a clean game folder to see whether that makes a difference.  Pull your entire TS3 game folder out of Documents and onto your desktop, and a new one will spawn the next time you launch the game.  Start a new save and test things out.  If you don't see any graphics glitches, you can copy your existing saves and other content into the new folder from the old one.

If you still see issues in the clean game folder, then getting your graphics card formally recognized is the next step.  The texture memory override in particular could be causing the issues you've described, and that's really easy to fix.
