The Sims 3 opens to launch then when pressing play kicks me to EA app. HELP!

Hey guys, I have been having a problem with getting The Sims 3 to run and I didn't get much help with support. Could anyone possibly help me? It lets me download and open the launch but then when I press play it kicks me back to the EA screen? I have tried reinstalling and everything. Thank you!
