The Sims 3 panel gone missing!

I went and started up The Sims 3 on my PC. Once I got into the game I noticed that the panel at the bottom of the screen that lets you go into buy mode, build and lets you check your sims needs is gone! I've been trying different things but i can't seem to get it back. Does anyone know how this is really bugging me!??

  • That is usually a sign of game corruption.

Here's some info about the issue

    Problem

I can't play anymore for there is no User Interface in my game anymore.

    Cause

    • The User Interface can be turned of via F10 so that you can take pictures or make a video without the UI.
    • Corrupt save An error occurs on load-up which makes it impossible to load the game properly.
    • Any ScriptErrors on loadup that prevent the game from loading properly.

    Solutions

    • Press F10 or ESC
    • Try if reloading the game helps
    • Solution by garbuckle3000
      • Minimize the game and make a copy of your savegame
      • Maximize the game
      • Use ALT+Q to save and return to the main menu
      • Restart the game.
    • Solution by Cyron43:
      • Open the cheat console with ctl-shift-c
      • Type resetsim *
      • Hit Alt-F4 to be promted to save the game
      • Restart the game, you should have your interface back
    • If nothing helps, you will need to load a backup

  • Im probably the only one that actually fixed the problem without deleting anything or moving the family out or anything like that. To save anyone the trouble I contacted the EA customer service reps 3 times before they really understood the problem and could help me. Finally they suggested I download CCleaner (the free version). I was shooketh that it actually worked cause I mean it was my third time contacting them and nothing worked. So if your game panels looks like the attached picture try downloading the CCleaner. https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Edit: Its now happened to me for the second time and the CCleaner isnt working anymore to fix my problem.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us! I have literally tried every suggested solution to this problem.

Any idea how the CCleaner helped fix the panel?

    EDIT--

It didn't work! I have accepted the fact that all of my current family save file may be corrupted. Oh well. ☹️
