Did anybody else here use Visa-Debits for their payments?

I used Visa Debit as well. I did the same for Supernatural without issue though.

I thought Visa-debit was the issue but apparently it is the banks.

i called EA and they said I had to wait 24-48 hours. Tempted to call them back and cancel the order, and go pick it up in the store. The lady I talked to was not helpful at all -______-

I'm sorry that I don't have better news for you. Unfortunately our Game Advisors have to look into each case individually.
My advice: Contact them by phone, that should be the fastest way to sort things out. If you want to contact them by live chat, choose USA or Canada as your country of origin.
I cannot say how sorry I am that you have to wait so long to play this great game. All my pre-orders in Origin were very smooth experiences without any problems. We learned several things from this issue and will improve our service accordingly.

Should I still choose USA or Canada as my country if it isn't? I shudder to think at the cost of calling from Australia...

I also used Visa Debit,and recall the $45.99 coming out of my account right away,but now I can't even find it in my bank statement.

That happened to me too. Sorry for those of you who still have not been helped. I think that some reps dont know of the issue so they are just going by what they see on the screen. Call back for a different rep today. They should be educated by now. What happened was an issue with the payments so thats why everyone keeps saying to contact your bank etc. When I called EA they were extremely helpful. Not every rep is the same.
