The sims 3 Seasons not showing in launcher

Admitting defeat  and hoping someone will have an solution. I have just decided to reinstall the few sims 3 games I have. Everything else works perfectly fine but seasons, just doesn't want to show up.

So far I have tried - uninstalling and reinstalling origin

uninstalling and reinstalling all games

Complete clean uninstall of origin and games, restart and reinstall of everything

opening the launcher as admin

repairing sims 3 and seasons

But alas, nothing as worked. Completely free of any CC or mods. No save games, it's a complete clean slate.

Any suggestions that I can try will be welcome.

Running on Windows 10

@nuttynatsu This could actually be an issue with the EPs entitlements, so if the steps roberta591 posted do not resolve the issue, please contact an Advisor and they can check if it is an account issue.

@nuttynatsu Open Origin - hover the mouse over the game icon - click the small i - do you see Seasons as owned? What is the version of the game - in the launcher lower left? Does Seasons appear in the game launcher expansions & stuff tab?

I brought the game a few months ago and it worked perfectly fine then.

Shows up as installed in origin and under my programs/uninstall program. Just not showing up under Expansions in the Sims 3 launcher.

At a loss at what could be causing it and typically it's the only game I don't have a disc copy of. The only change since buying it is that I have updated my PC to Windows 10 Anniversary update.

@nuttynatsu Try Using Windows 10 programs and features to uninstall Seasons. Once uninstalled get a registry cleaner like ccleaner (there is a free version) and clean the registry. Then reboot the computer and open Origin. Origin should (and I say should) see Seasons is not installed and install it - you shouldn't have to do anything. It could be Origin thinks it's installed because of registry enties and the launcher hasn't recognized it.

Abhishek of EA chat has fixed the issue. @EA_Kristi was an issue with the expansion, I have been given a new game code to register with my account.

Thank you both again for the help
