Try running the game through TS3.exe. It's in your base game "Game/Bin" folder.
I tried this method and it did not work. The game hasn't start up. Before, my sim game hasn't done this before till I got supernatural.
You need to run the game through Origin using Supernatural. To do so:
- open up the Origin client
- go to your My Games
- Click PLAY on Supernatural
- The launcher will start
- Press play
