The Sims 3 won't launch; Windows 11
Got a new gaming computer yesterday and reinstalled all of my games from Origin, Steam, Epic Games and Ubisoft. All my other games launch properly, however, my Sims 3 Just will not launch. I've tried repairing and uninstalling the game, still to no avail. I've tried to launch the game via Origin and through Program Files (x86) > Origin Games > Sims 3 > Game > Bin.
These are my system specs:
Processor : 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz (16 CPUs), ~2.3GHz
Memory : 16GB RAM
Operating System : Windows 11 Home 64-bit
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti
@apigaill Just a guess, but try manually installing DirectX 9, as described here:
If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post. A dxdiag should contain some info that isn't in the file you've provided, thorough as it is in other aspects.
