The Sims 3 World Adventures: Opened the Adventures Journal...How do I get out of it?

The game isn't stuck of anything I just opened the journal and I pressed 0 1 2 & 3 for the time to start again but the journal is still up in the screen. I tried escape and it didn't help. I even trie...

there should be an icon of the journal somewhere at the bottom click on that to see if you can close the journal
