bethp18 Then I would suggest taking this question to the NRaas site, if you're willing. Install NRaas DebugEnabler, and at 2:50 am, click City Hall and select NRaas > DE > Dump Alarms. This will create a scripterror file in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3, and the file may show what's running that's been causing problems.
You can do this again just before 5 am if the crashes are now consistently around that time. What you don't want to do is run this continuously, as the file will become too large to be easily read. You can also try a few times, deleting the older files, if it's difficult to get the timing right.
Once you have the file(s) you want, create an account on the NRaas site and create a thread in Chatterbox, since you don't know the cause of the crashing. You can drag and drop the entire scripterror with the alarms into the text box where you're writing your post (don't copy and paste, actually drag the file), and it'll upload. Add any other scripterrors you got in the same play session.
I could try to read these files, and in fact I often know or can guess what they're saying. But you'll probably get a better answer from the people at NRaas.
