TIME FOR LEGAL ACTIONS
Time to report EA to the US Federal Trade Commission, your Senators and seeking a class action law suit in all 50 states. Regardless of what Origins was intended for, anti-piracy, they have made our investments in their games nul and void. Hence we bought for a game and they have inhibited that service and violated several trade laws for starters.
Why should we invest more time measured in years for leadership of EA that is arrogantly confident they will not wind up in court. Sorry to say morons that this vet has real profession and works with those making 250M USD a year.
These bugs or faults are EA responsibility to fix or get rid of Origins in the next 45 days and/or let every subscriber know what you intend to do to fix your self-induced fault. It is not caused by drivers, Windows or MAC OSs, but your negligence and failure to do proper integration testing, thus causing the contract and T&Cs under which we purchase the Sims or any other software rendered null and void.
Time for legal action, and not against EA alone, but those running the show.
You worked hard to kill a great series of games, but even harder to kill off a customer base. And in legal terms, those that bought these games prior to Origin being implemented never had to and/or told they had to use an internet connection to play their games. We may have a data rights and/or FCC action here, as well as, business fraud broad.
Not all of us are kids, but irregardless, kids or not we all deserve honest advertising, ethical sales, and entertainment performance we paid for.
No more troubleshooting the game and/or Origin; but time to troubleshot EA leadership and lack of simple customer care through legal channels.
