Trouble with CC in EA app

Question

Sp, every since I was forced to move over to the EA app from Origin none of mu custom content has worked. It will not show up In the game, and it will not let me uninstall any of it or try to install new stuff either. I tried to make a new sims folder and transfer the CC over to that, but it still will not let me download it in the launcher. When I download it the download goes through and says it was successful, but then it says "critical system error" and it doesn't show it as downloaded in the launcher. Does anyone have any tips?

@norah414&nbsp; Please repair the game in the EA App: open your game library, click Sims 3, and select Manage &gt; Repair.&nbsp; Please also download a fresh copy of one custom content item to test with.

If that doesn't help, clear the Origin and EA App cache files:

and repair again.&nbsp; Then try to install a new cc item.&nbsp; Please also try installing a Store item; Riverview and some holiday sets are free if you don't own anything.&nbsp; I'd like to know whether you get an error, and if so, which one.
