TS3 add ons stuck on "finalizing"

@LauraPiru Please uninstall Sims 3 and the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine). Use the Intensive scanning method for the App. Restart your computer after uninstalling both.
Reinstall the App and create a new folder where you'll install Sims 3. The folder should be on the root level of the drive of your choice, for example C:\Games is fine, but not C:\Program Files\Games. Download the base game and then try to install one of your currently-not-working packs without installing anything via disc. Let me know whether it works.
If you use a third-party antivirus, I would also suggest disabling it (temporarily) while installing Sims 3. As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe.
