Ts3 duplicate running files?

I have no clue what I did, i reinstalled my sims 3 game and it was through origin this time and it gave me a separate The Sims 3 file and a new Electronic Arts folder with another The Sims 3 file. I'...

    @shamalish  The mods and custom content need to be inside a folder called Packages (with a capital P) inside the Mods folder.  The game can't read the files otherwise.  You can have subfolders inside Packages if you want.

Here is the location of my Mods folder, and other folders of custom content inside the mods folder and there's a 3rd photo of what cc is there just in case.

    sorry for the late reply! i ended up doing that but it didn't work so I ended up reinstalling the mods framework folder and that did the trick. thanks!
