Tutorials

How can I view tutorials, since the required app (Adobe Flash) is no longer available?

I can definitely explain how to upload lots though:

    • Save your progress, and go to Edit Town
    • If there are sims living on the lot but you don't want to upload them too, select the house and click Evict; you're not going to save your progress after this, so it's fine
    • Select the house and click the button to add a name and description if it doesn't already have one*
    • Click the Share button, which will prompt you to add or modify the description, but you can skip this step since you've already created one
    • Quit (without saving) and open the Sims 3 launcher, then sign in there
    • To upload the lot to the Exchange, click the Uploads button, select the lot, and confirm
    • If you want to share the lot elsewhere, the .Sims3Pack file will be in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Exports

*You need to add the name and description first because sometimes it doesn't stick if you only add it when you click the Share button, as in, people who download the house (including you) may not see the text.

If any part of this is unclear, feel free to ask.  But there are plenty of video tutorials elsewhere, like YouTube, that you can use as well.
