unable download supernatural

hi yes  this title is my problem

i have today finaly buy the last expansion supernatural

which by download forced me to update sims 3 which as exepcted break the game as i cant run sims 3 anymore

but to the actualy topic i can not download supernatural

after i press downloadl it instantly be done but it remain "download"  yet still show completed in the progress bar

i checked folders i checked registry key i tried repair sims 3  nothing help me

this sims 3 update ruined the game to me as i can not even launch it anymore it still worked fine today before i bought supernatural and updated sims 3 (in order to download)  hate this forcing if we not want to update we damn not want 

this game did run just fine but u guys broke it -.- 

but why can i not even download supernatural?

    @Zvitatzki Could you please try the steps in the order below:

    1. Manually uninstall Origin
    2. Run CCleaner
    3. Restart your computer
    4. Make sure that your UAC is enabled and set to notify
    5. Download the latest version of Origin and install the client - make sure to run the setup file with Admin rights
    6. Add firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin and open the needed ports
    7. When starting Origin, please make sure to run it as Administrator

    After this try installing the EP again. Also if the issue with launching the game remains, try running a repair (right click the Sims 3 game tile and select 'Repair Game').

    hi  ty the reply  repair game i tried as i mention on my first message

    the problem been solved by removing the compatible windows xp mode on the game exe probertys

    seemed to not longer work after the last forced update which i happy avoided the past 3 months in obvios reasons

    but taking this off did start the game again  i see loading screens regarding supernatural in the hint info  and hope this is all working yet

    since the game take up usualy 2-3 hours to load my family  i do play other things in meanwhile  and will report later if the expansion is working 🙂

    yes  it works everything fine again after disable the compatible mode

    if anyone report sims not launch anymore since update  can try suggest to see the comatible mode  this been my problem
