Unable to connect with origin

I'm having the same problem as you and I've discovered that if you don't download any of (or uninstall any that you have been playing)  the expansion packs on the Origin launcher you can play! The only one that I have managed to use is W A but that is the only one. It is so frustrating as I love playing The Sims and I even got a new and more powerful laptop just for playing but ever since I tried to put it on it I can't play with any of the exp packs. I have tried all the things that have been suggested and turned off all firewalls but nothing works.  😕mileysad:

    Is this all about the message or does your game crash when trying to play with the expansion ?

    I can play with WA but if I try to download anything else from the Origin launcher it just will not play. I have tried all the suggestions such as making them the administraters and turned off defenders and things but nothing seems to work 😕mileysad:

    First the cpu (AMD E1-2100 APU) clocked at 1ghz is way underpowered to meet the minimum of 2.4ghz requirement for TS3. This chip was meant for subnotebooks and netbooks. This cpu has no turbo. The graphics is integrated with the cpu and as graphics performance is dependent on the speed of the cpu. As the cpu speed is so slow this hampers the performance of the graphics unit. This cpu is severely under powered to play TS3. This cpu is about equal to Intel's Atom N550 cpu in performance. The AMD E series is considered an SoC (system on a chip) and targeted to embedded systems like smart cell phones and tablets.
