Unable to log in to sims 3 community

I purchased Dragon Valley yesterday and received an email that explained I needed to log into the Sims 3 website to redeem my code and download the game. Whenever I tried to log in, it took me right back to the homepage and did not log me in. I tried to create an account but when I put my email in it said that I already have an account and to enter my password. I entered my password and it brought me back to the same page. I have changed my password through origin and enabled cookies in Internet Explorer. I am getting very frustrated since I spent $20 for this game and I cannot log in to redeem the code. PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEE
