Unable to play Sims 3 on macBook

@POR160893 Please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the existing Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you open the launcher, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to this folder yet; just see whether you can get far enough to start a new save.
Please make sure you're removing the folder from the version of Documents stored on your computer, not the one in your iCloud Drive. To double-check, you can right-click on the folder and select Get Info, then find the file path under Where. The correct file path is Macintosh HD > Users > your username > Documents etc.
If the above doesn't help, please let me know whether iCloud Drive is syncing the contents of Documents, and if so, how full it is.
