Unable to sign into sims 3 account

I can’t sign into my sims3.com game account even after creating a new one. Can someone please help?

    dallymunoz21  Try disabling Advanced Rendering, which is a check box with the other graphics options.  Do so at the Main Menu, and quit to desktop before loading a save.

    Please try in both fullscreen and windowed modes, and quit and reload after switching modes.

    If that doesn't help, please list the full specs of your Mac: everything under About This Mac including the OS and except for the serial number.

    dallymunoz21  To be clear, you're talking about signing into the website www.thesims3.com ?  What happens when you try?  And does it work if you use a different browser (Firefox works well with the site), or a different device?

    yes, and i can sign in through my browser but not in-game

    dallymunoz21  If your password contains special characters (for example & or !), please remove them.  If that doesn't help or isn't relevant, clear Edge's Internet Explorer-mode data, whether you use Edge or not.  Additionally, open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads and delete the file labeled [your email].bin.

    If none of this helps, is there a reason you need to sign in?  Having an active login is mostly irrelevant; the only times it matters are when you want to earn badges, use Simport, or send gifts to friends.

    dallymunoz21  Try signing in using a new admin Windows account.  Make it local, as in, don't link your Microsoft account or any email address.  You'll be able to open the game without reinstalling anything.  This will show whether the problem is limited to your main Windows account or is global.

    I’m using Shadow PC because I have a Mac, and Shadow PC is a complete virtual Windows computer. Does that make a difference?

    dallymunoz21  That may make a difference, but I'm not sure.  I haven't heard from anyone else using Shadow PC for Sims 3.  What you could do, which isn't definitive but at least suggestive, is install the game on your Mac and see whether you can sign in.  You'd only need to install the base game in order to test.

    Does the sims 3 work on mac now? When I tried a few years ago it didn’t
