'Unknown Error Occurred' - MacBook Air - The Sims 3

Hi,

Bought The Sims 3 yesterday on Origin Downloadable Game. Came with High-End Loft and Late Night included in the £30 price.

Installed them one after another, then said update was required. Installed updated now I just get a message saying 'Unknown Error Occurred'

I have tried all the delting co.trangaming rubbish and it still hasnt worked.

All of that has been removed from my Mac but I still get the 'Play' option rather than 'Install' when opening through origin.

To be honest, this is pathetic and I want a refund.

What is your actual patch level right now? Only the base game needs updating so once you reach 1.67, that's the latest patch. If the updates tab of the launcher isn't working properly then the superpatch is your best bet.
