I have a app on my Mac that is called AppCleaner that completely uninstalls apps and any files associated with that app from my computer, even after using that app I go completely through all my folders on my computer and searching for a delete any files that may have been missed. After doing this I still am not able to run the game after reinstalling it.

In general it's best to uninstall the game according to BluebellFlora's guide rather than using clean-up Apps. Also be aware that some of the files left over after uninstalling the game are "hidden" and not therefore easy to find and delete after searching. Also it sometimes occurs that the clean-up apps do harm to the Mac by over-zealously deleting files that are actually wanted.
After removing the game and checking for residual files, what happens if you just install and patch the base game with no expansions? Can the base game alone not even open?
