Using sims 3 on a mackbook air?

i am thinking of buying sims 3 for my macbook , but next year, i am going to get a macbook air and macbook airs don't have CD/DVD slots for the game disc. Is there a way that i can purchase the game that will work on my current macbook and my future macbook air. It also has to be a way that i can buy expansion packs that will work on both divises and also be able to transfer the sim families to my (future) macbook air. thanks :D

    Just so you know, the game run horribly on Macs for some people.  If you are buying the computer solely for the Sims, get something else.  I have a Macbook Pro, and I love it, but the game is just not compatible with it.
