when can i download the sims 3 UL

When am I going to be able to download and play my Sims 3 University Life? I have a Mac pc and I digitally ordered since the 2nd of march ... I love EA and The Sims 3 but waiting this long is ridiculous especially as it's my first time preordering ... worst experience ever ...
