When I try to open my The Sims 3 the computer says "Wrong Image"

Hi guys. I bought my The Sims 3 some months ago and I used it on my older computer. Now I've got one new and I installed the game again. Everything went allright, but then I tried to open the game.

This appeared (it is in Portuguese, but the translation is below): Error 1

GfxUI.exe - Wrong image

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\mscoreei.dlll  wasn't  created to work on Windows or has an error. Try to install the program again using the original installation media or contact a system admin or the provider of the software to obtain support

What should I do? Thanks for everything.

P.S: I already installed the program again but is hasn't work.

    1. Does your system fit the minmium requirments?

    2. You should probably contact ea live chat at: help.ea.com .

    Thanks.

    Hello,

There seems to be two ways of solving this issue, but we'll try the easier one first.

Sometimes this error is associated with corrupt drivers. However, its not always easy to pinpoint which specific driver is causing the problem, so you may have to use a form of automated driver updating software - one I've seen that looks legitimate is DriverDoc.

Once this program has updated your drivers, I would suggest uninstalling it, as sometimes these programs like to stick around and use up your memory.

See if that solves your issue. If not, we may have to use the more complicated potential solution to the problem.

I hope this helps and keep simming,

    Cody
