Where is the Sims 3 registration code when you download the game from origin?

I have only a 16-digits code in my Origin client! Nothing works now!

We’re aware of the 16 digit / 20 digit conflict issues with Sims 3 Starter Pack. We didn't become aware of the problem, until we saw a pattern in where users were redeeming the product code.

If you redeem the 16 digit humble code in the client, your game details page should have a proper 20 digit key for installing the game. (However it is still possible to have not gotten an updated 20 digit key)

If you unfortunately redeemed the game through www.origin.com/account it would retain the same 16 digit key instead of issuing a proper 20 digit key needed for the game. [For some who tried this and we redirected you to the thesims3.com to redeem your code this was also incorrect. This was our mistake]

We're are also working on the overall longevity game redemption issues on our side.

We are extremely sorry for the mixture of confusion and frustration that this has caused.

We will be working the next 24 hours on automatically updating all accounts that were affected by this glitch, to ensure you get a proper key for the game. I assure you that we will get this fixed.

I would also like to say thank you to everyone who has participated in the HumbleBundle and has helped raise money for charity, but again we are sorry for this issue, and we're working to resolve this.

  I just bought the SIMS 3 Island Paradise and I cant find my code anywhere and from what I read there isnt a solution?? I am confused on what to do to resolve this problem caused by origin. 😕mileysad:

if the person who wrote this "solution" doesnt work for EA then i guess thats why they didnt fix the problem in 24 hours like they said they would. Apparently its been a year since this has startedb(maybe even longer) and they have made no attempt what-so-ever to fix it. Doing a great job EA.

I am new to this "formum" system, so please forgive me if I missed the resolution. I ordered this game online but I did not get ANY registration code in my email so that the installation could finalize. Where can I get this code? Thanks in advance.

  try this to find the game code log into your origin account right click the game icon-show game details your code should be there make a note of your code have pen and paper handy

You suck!!!! How can you sell a game with no registration code to play it? Glad I put this on my Am Ex. They will reverse the charge and with enough reversals they will drop you and your inept business!!!

  i don't work for EA most of us here are players helping players so if you want to find your game code then this is how

Hello
Trying to download Sims 3 paradise island from Origin, asking for a 20 digit codes. Got email confirmation obly with 16 digits code. What should we do? Why it's even asking for a code if we downloaded from Origin.

  the 16 digit code is probs for a DLC content item you redeem the 16 digit code in your the sims 3 account your game code
  
  to redeem your 16 digit code for your DLC
  
  Go to http://www.thesims3.com and login to your account.
  
  Click on the The Store tab in the menu bar at the top of the page.
  
  Then click the My Store Account tab.
  
  Click on the Green "+" icon sign across from Redeem a Code to expand that section, if it's not expanded already.
  
  Enter your 16 digit code for your bonus content.
  
  Accept the Digital Services Agreement and the Privacy Policy.
  
  Click the green Redeem button.
