Why are the clothes (and only the clothes) in bad quality/graphics?[Mac]

Adjusting Sims details only adjust the sims bod not the clothing. Mine are on very high and the clothing are still low quality.

You have probably already tried this but have a look in the graphics section of Options and make some adjustments to Sim Detail to see if you can improve the look. I'm not sure what else you can do if that doesn't work.
