Why can't I register my account with the Sims 3 Community?

I try to login with the Sims 3 Community but I only get as far as the terms and conditions. After I check the boxes and press continue it just refreshes that same screen. Any idea how to fix this?

I AM IN APRIL 2016 AND AM STILL HAVING THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!! IVE HAD THIS PROBLEM SINCE 2014 WHEN I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if the page keeps looping try clear the internet cache and switching browsers if using chrome or safari try Firefox or IE then log in with your email and password ( origin and the sims 3 use the same email and password this ties the accounts together )
