Will my games be deleted if I uninstall EA download manager?

I have The Sims 3, and a few expansion packs, and I got for some reason the EA download manager. I want to delete it but it says that it may prevent me from playing EA games, what should I do? Can I delete it?

    EADM is now Origin. Do you also have Origin installed ?

    Shouldn't be a problem to uninstall it.

    The message just means that you might not be able to play the games if you don't reinstall it. They won't be lost. You should only have Origin now though.
