Witch Sim Cannot Use Magic

I have a witch sim who has suddenly been unable to cast any spells. It was working fine yesterday, but going into the game today I found she was unable to. She still has her power bar, which is full, but whenever I click on her to use a charm, or click on the lot to cast a spell, the option is not there. She has a wand in her inventory which now has the option to 'attempt to cast a spell'. I did that and it didn't work, and I got a notification that tells me to turn her into a witch and try again, even though she is already a witch ☹️

Please help me. She was level 9 witch powers and I would love it if she could use magic again.

One last thing. I clicked on the wardrobe and it gave the option to magically upgrade. That worked fine, but it is the only thing that works anymore. Please and thank you
