every time i try to click on it im taken back to ea. it was working fine the other day but it wanted me to run an update, and then im unable to play. i’ve restarted ea and my computer, cleared the cache and “repaired” the game and still nothing. any help is appreciated thank you
LizardDrowning Are you saying that you click Play in the EA App, and the Sims 3 launcher doesn't open? Or does the launcher open, you click Play there, and the game doesn't start?
Please also let me know whether it helps to remove or rename the Sims 3 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts. This would prevent your saves from loading, but they'd still be intact in the old folder and could be restored later.
