World Adventures not showing in launcher

Hi,

I purchased the Sims 3 many many years ago now and used to use the Origin app. 

I am now coming back to the game and introducing my nephew to it but have encountered an issue with the World Adventures expansion not showing in the launcher.

All expansions show in the EA app and are showing as installed. All expansions except world adventures show in the launcher. The expansion is running when i launch the game.

I have tried uninstalling all the game and then reinstalling. I have tried clearing the cache files. I have spoken to the EA live chat and they tried re-activating the pack in the app. Nothing has worked and i have a very sad nephew right now!

The live chat recommended i start a post here for more suggestions.

Unsure if it is related but the welcome page of the launcher is also not showing and displays "the website cannot display the page".

    I am having the same issue but with Late Night expansion, we brought the starter pack a while back and now that I am playing it Late Night is not registering in the game, it shows installed but not on the sims start page.

    4bfac6177ba209ad  Did you try clearing the EA App's cache and repairing the game (EA App > Sims 3 > Manage > Repair) after the support rep removed and added back World Adventures?  If not, please do so now.  The App's data may be stale.

    For the launcher not loading properly, please clear Edge's Internet Explorer-mode data, which is where the launcher stores data even if you never use Edge.  Instructions are towards the end of this article:

    mkgant327  Are you missing any other content?  What about High-End Loft Stuff, which is also part of the Starter Pack?  It would be odd for Late Night to disappear when HELS was still available.
