Worldtool.exe can't be downloaded secuarely alert
Hi, I'm trying to learn to create a world of my own, but I couldn't download it. When I clicked 'download' button on Chrome and Firefox, the downlad page just blinked, then nothing happened. Tried it on Microsoft Edge, then I got this alert. Maybe do I need specific tool to install to get this world tool? I didn't have any problem on my old pc, recently, I got a new pc. The new pc spec is AMD Ryzen 5 5500 3.6 GHz, 16 GB Ram, Windows 11 Home, N/VIDIA Geforce RTX 4060. Thanks in advance.
@aodoherty I was able to start both downloads just now. The Store was down for a bit earlier tonight, so that may have been the issue. Still, try one of the direct download links instead:
1.67: https://www.thesims3.com/content/global/downloads/caw/worldtool.exe
1.69: https://www.thesims3.com/content/global/downloads/caw/ts3caw.exe
I suspect the alert is because you're downloading an .exe, which Chrome may block outright and Edge (built on Chromium) may flag. I'm not sure why Firefox didn't allow the download; it did for me just now.
