For comparison and to show to the developers what the exact problem is, could someone who has the following pictures of their sim(s) post them:
- 1 picture of a sim's eyes taken before the Lovestruck patch
- 1 picture of a sim's eyes taken between the Lovestruck patch and yesterday's patch
- 1 picture of a sim's eyes taken after yesterday's patch
The 3 pictures should be:
- taken in CAS
- of the same sim (you can do several sims, but include all 3 pictures for every sim)
- close up (zoomed in on the face)
- the same or a very similar angle
- not when the sim is in the middle of a blink, the eyes should be completely open
- posted as pictures (use the little "insert image" option above the text editor), not as files (the paper clip)
I haven't updated my game yet, so I can't do this myself, but I've taken the first two types of pictures, for several different sims, so that I have them for comparison when I update.

@SqueamishNerd I think the developers have understood exactly what the problem is. Just undo the changes they made before Lovestruck. The problem is the eyelashes, which have been requested by vanilla players. Eyelashes can no longer be removed, as that would cause an uproar, so the developers are stuck. The only solution is to find another way of adding eyelashes without modifying the eyes, and I don't think that's possible.

But I still don't understand, why the developers had to touch the eyes in the first place? CC Creators were able to make tons of eyelashes without touching the eyeshape. Why is it different for these official lashes??
That really puzzles my mind...

@MissLjupka They could have done the same, but instead they created a special category compatible with glasses, which modifies the eyes. The cc’s creators eyelashes cannot be used with glasses, which is why the eyes are not modified.

I'm not entirely sure if they've understood the part about us wanting them to go back exactly to how the eyes used to look like. Right now it feels like they're trying to change the eyes and animations to work with the eyelashes rather than the other way around, fix the eyelashes to work with the eyes and animations. Either way, it's still good to have pictures that show exactly what changed between the different updates.

As far as I've understood, there were two reasons why CC creators' eyelashes weren't (and in some cases still aren't) compatible with either glasses or accessories:
- There wasn't a designated place on the UV map to put eyelashes
- There wasn't a designated CAS category to put eyelashes inWhen there wasn't a designated place to put eyelashes on the UV map, CC creators had to use a place on the UV map that was already designated for something else, for example glasses. What EA did was to add a designated place for eyelashes on the UV map. (Since some CC creators' eyelashes took up a bigger space than the new designated place, their eyelashes still conflict with glasses or accessories.) The UV map doesn't cause any changes to the shape of the eyes, the only thing the UV map does is to "paint" the 3D model.

Here are some screenshots of what my sim looked like before the Lovestruck Update and after the update. As you can see in the second image (After Lovestruck Update) the eyes look off. Also, you can see that eyelashes for preset eyes are lighter when they should be black. The eyes look the same as they did after this recent update. They are not fixed. Also, with the bugged eyes, it looks as if the eyes are being pushed up further into the eyelid. The sims just don't look the same anymore and in a negative way. Until this is fixes, many of us storytellers cannot play the game.
Before Lovestruck Update:
After Lovestruck Update:
*I had to use the updated 3d eyelashes to work with the bugged eyes, so the eyelashes look different.
As a reminder here is a list of the current eye bugs that are critical and need to be fixed:
1. Eye Shape Bug
2. Lighter Eyelashes With Preset Eyes Bug
3. Eyelids Not Closing Bug (For all animations)
