Just bought for rent recently and also having this problem. It's so frustrating! I have found that the cheap contractor does a good job though. So just doing that in the meantime. Not as fun though.
I also bought this recently as a Black Friday deal for ps5 and thought it was just my game not working properly. I agree it's not as fun just hiring a contractor to resolve the issue; it also ends up being incredibly costly in the long run to keep hiring contractors. I sure hope they put out a patch soon for this issue since it's becoming quite frustrating.
It is weird considering that a patch was put out on the 3rd of December 2024 and in the patch notes it was not fixed, I feel as if they don't care about it considering how it is a bug that literally makes the entire add-on unplayable.
