Same. When I have my sim try to fix the issue, the event ends and says the issue wasn't addressed even though my sim is actively trying to fix the issue. There is no way my sim can fix every broken appliance in less than a real-life minute. The only surefire way to resolve events is to hire a contractor. This happens during tenant revolts too my sim promises to improve conditions but I quickly get a notification that my sim did nothing to address the issue. Also, the revolts happen, but there is nothing wrong with the unit in question.
