[ARCHIVED] [HR] Ranch Hand Stays Past 7 pm

Also having this issue in conjunction with the bug of having to rehire the ranch hand every few days. She basically does not leave for several days, does random stuff like make coffee and drink milk from my fridge, then after several days of doing who knows what on the ranch, she leaves and never comes back unless i re-hire.

My ranch hand has decided she lives in my Sims house, she tried to take over my Sims bed at 11 pm instead of going to her own home.

I've been doing some testing in a vanilla game and the problem exists there too. Exactly the same as with mods.

I'm having the same problem and, in addition, the Ranch hand seems to spend a great deal of her time baking White Cakes.  I find them all over the house whenever the ranch hand is there.

I admit, I almost do not want to report this at all. From the moment I hired my Ranch Hand, she has never left. She has lived with my Sim family for a few Sim months at this point. She really has never left. She does her job. She's good at it. She is great with the horses and goats. Even the rabbits I put on the ranch. She was good with the chickens too, until I sold them all. She cleans my house and takes care of my dog. So, on one 'hand' I don't want this fixed. lol  I also worry, because if it is fixed, how much am I going to owe this woman when she leaves her shift for the day. The only thing my Ranch Hand doesn't do is take care of the infant. Which, I'm glad about or I would be irritated. And she does have a habit of dropping apples. I had started having apple trees all over the place, but I found a solution to that, so that's resolved. lol Anyway, figured ya'll should know (but I actually would love for it to stay this way). 

“Whenever this bug occurs, it also results in the ranch hand not showing up the next Sim day” - interestingly, my experience has been the opposite. When the ranch hand stays late and doesn’t take her pay, she does at least come back at 7am the next day. When she takes her pay and leaves at 7pm, she never comes back and needs to be rehired.

I have exactly the same issue, I don't use any mods (not installed, not used). It's just so annoying because I like my sims to go to the town to sell their crops and milk, especially during the fairs, when the selling price is 10% higher. It just stops me from going out because sometimes I forget to re-hire the ranch hand and my goats were extremely unwell because no one took care of them.
