Re-tested multiple times, from existing saves to new ones, with and without mods, the issue persists. I can also confirm this is happening to other players, since that's how I found out about it.
After latest aug 8 2024 update, I noticed that two teen sims in my same household, only one had the checklist in the corner and only one could go home normally. The other one went to class but the had no checklist or way to go home. It happened in every teen save file I had. I got rid of the mods , but the game was still doing it.
I have the same problem with my twins, the worst thing is, on the days when they have afterschool activities, the one twin who has the daily tasks can go just fine to the afterschool activity, but the twin that doesn't have the tasks can't go, he remains stuck in the high school. Also, this sim doesn't progress as much as his brother, because while his brother (the one that gets the tasks and the daily reports) is an A student, he is just a B student, which is frustrating.
Besides the fact that I cannot take two of my teen sims to high school because the school events do not show for both of them, I have some problems with the prom and the duration of classes. For the classes, they do not start and end when they should. For the prom, there is no notification to go to prom and when my sims go there, the announcement for royalty and jester last more than usual and the prom finishes way after 11 pm.
This is happening to me as well. I have a household with triplets and only the eldest has the daily tasks panel if I follow all 3 of them to school, and only she gets the notification at the end of the day to say how she did.
