[ARCHIVED] [S] NPC Holiday Decorations getting stuck (Patch 1.55)

I've recently found what seems like a reliable workaround for this.  If your Sim goes to a neighborhood that still has old holiday decorations up, click on the calendar icon and add a holiday for the next day, which requires NO decorations.  Keep your Sim on the same lot for at least a Sim hour or so, and you should see the decorations disappear. This has worked for me in three different neighborhoods. Also, the holiday you add 1) MUST be for the next day, if it's later it won't work, and 2) can be deleted as soon as the decorations disappear, they won't come back.
