NPC Holiday Decorations getting stuck (Patch 1.55)

So, I am constantly needing to create “non-decorative” holidays to clear all of my community lots from Winter Fest Exterior Decor. After ever winter holiday, all community lots revert to this decor and it won’t go away otherwise. Even if another holidat comes, new decor comes, it will revert back to the Winter Holiday decor as if I created these lots this way!

I play on xbox. No mods. Up to date. Ongoing for a while now.

  • Playing on Mac - having the same issue. Here is a picture of the Lab from Get To Work that I'm trying to renovate at the moment ... including Loveday decorations.

  • So. I spend about 8 hours to build this school and now, there was the romance day. Since this (its been 5 days) the whole school is decorated with this annoying decoration and I can't get rid of it.

I’ve had this problem as well. To work around it creates a holiday that has no decorations or things to do basically a no holiday holiday. Then when that day comes it will remove all the previous holiday decorations.

Not a real fix, but it does reset the decor.

    I hope that helps.
