@Wndblwz See my reply above. In most cases, you can set a door as the front door and the trespassing settings will show up on that door but penthouses do not allow you to set a front door and do not have trespassing settings anywhere else.

@crinrictI'm not in my game right now, but I'm pretty sure you can't set a front door on a penthouse. I'll check and let you know.ETA: I just checked and there is no trespassing settings or "set as front door" option on any of the doors in the penthouse. Probably because you enter by clicking on the building entrance and spawning at the elevator. There is no option at the building entrance or the elevator either. It would be nice if there was as NPCs often just walk into the penthouses without being invited.

Ive recently set my sim up in a penthouse in the Arts area in City Living. I deleted everything apart from the elevator, mail box and trash chute. After building I noticed you cant set a front door which if I remember rightly has always been this way. Problem is people of the streets just walk in and do what they want and you cant get them out. No knocking, hello, nothing. I have other doors leading outside to a large balcony and they are coming in to use MY swimming pool as well. All I can do is lock the Main door and unlock when needed. Im guessing without the Front door option you cant stop people from walking in as they like. As its residential and not a business this shouldn't happen anyway. You shouldn't have to set a front door and choose no tress passing in a residential penthouse as its obvious. This needs fixing.. ☹️ Might have to move my sim. Ooooh the frustration. (NO MODS or CC)

The apartments are different from penthouses. They have elevators but when you travel there you choose which apartment you want to visit and you spawn there. The apartment front doors are already built and fixed and can't be moved but they do have the trespassing settings.For penthouses, you can delete everything on that floor but you need to add back an elevator, mailbox and trash chute. Then you can build walls and doors wherever you want. But you can't set a front door which is where the trespassing options are.It may be a bug but I think it's always been that way. Most likely just bad design, nothing new.

@crinrict It doesn't make sense to me either. I think we should have the ability to assign a front door to a penthouse. It doesn't matter if it's a bug or just an oversight or bad decision. We've seen plenty of all those things in this game.

@Wndblwz I believe the trespassing options are only on doors that are set as the front door.

@rlc77 what's the front door to a penthouse ? Do they not have any ? It seems to appear on apartment doors but not for penthouses. Do you have the option on one of the doors?

@crinrictI'm not in my game right now, but I'm pretty sure you can't set a front door on a penthouse. I'll check and let you know.
ETA: I just checked and there is no trespassing settings or "set as front door" option on any of the doors in the penthouse. @rlc77It is the front door to the penthouse. At least it should be. It is the entrance to the penthouse from the elevator lobby. If this is the case, then the entire building needs restrictions.

@rlc77 Isn't that the same for apartments ? You can't set a front door there either cause there's basically just one yet you can set the disallow options. I get that there are differences but I do think there's a bug here.
