[FIXED] Sim reset on several interactions (food, homework, reading, sketchpad)

It does seem to be the house/terrain itself, my adult sims wouldn't even take my child sims to go to another place. But when I moved them to another house through my adult sims, he luckily could do actions again. Seems like the terrain tool might have bugged the location / one of my sims. But hope this gets fixed in the future before other people get the same problem.

I will probably just have to try demolishing everything or something and try again! Thank you. 🙂

he also responded to my topic with the exact same issue and he suggested to move the family to another location;

I did that for mine and my sims could perform actions again. It seems the terrain tool might have bugged the sims (weird it didn't bug them all), so try that. I didnt try this myself yet but  from the current location if you have the house in the gallery, try demolishing the location (if it restores it all) or similar , replace the house there and try to see if it works like that.

I have also read more reports on twitter.

My affected house(hold) in Windenburg had these characteristics:

- a cat

- a rodent

- the big cake factory

- a pool

- I had used the terrain tool immediately after loading

- all packs installed except GF

Perhaps there is a pattern.

Trying to figure out what's causing it. Seems to only happen in certain households

Need to know if it's really ALL actions for some of you or which ones exactly.

Also needed

• Save Games/ Houses that cause the issue
• LastException files
• Where did you originally build/download the house to (lot and neighborhood) ?
• Did you use the terrain tools ?

I do need to make sure it's not a mod causing so if you have, please remove them and delete you localthumbcache as well.

My main suspicion is that using the terrain tool on pre-patch households causes this bug. After moving my family to the new house, a created another hill on their new lot and this time they seem to be ok.

Hi, my lot is in Brindleton Bay on the other side of the Club Calico. My Sims work fine on another lot - my bug occurred after using terrain tool and then when my child sim came back from school. I had put nothing new on the lot beside the terrain tool which change I reverted. I build my own house.

What do we do with the last exception files? Delete them?

I just deleted the localthumbcache but problem still occurs. Same for the mods folder - I never used any mod . Well I did in the past but that was on an old PC

Since yours sounds extra extreme, it would also be good if you could upload the house to the gallery and post the name here.
