After i add mysterious rancher roberto crinkletop to my household, when i checked on the community board, there is no new npc generate for this role, see the screenshot, it only shows horse trainer left. I have tried use cheat add npc career for the mysterious rancher and it does not worked at all. Please help or advise on this issue. Is this a bug?? I have a similar issue, although in my case I have never seen him in this particular save. Not in welcome wagon, on the community board, or anywhere else. If I use the cheat "sims.get_sim_id_by_name roberto crinkletop" i6 just get "sim not found".My other saves are ok, but this is my main save and for some reason he's just not there.

Personally, I delete all premade townies (including the special ones like Agnes) to either make my own or just because I don't want them in my game. I deleted the Mysterious Rancher with MCCC. He's a hidden household, but you can unhide him with the mod. I've been playing for weeks in Chestnut Ridge and I haven't seen a new one generated.Some NPCs need a hidden trait alongside a career in order to fill certain roles and jobs. (The Ranch Hand and Horse Trainer also have a hidden trait and career that need to be applied to make your own.)career_Adult_EP14World_NPC_MysteriousRanchertrait_Hidden_EP14World_NPC_MysteriousRancherIf you add these to a Sim then move them to the unplayed households tab, you can make your own Mysterious Rancher. If you ever make them an active Sim, they will lose their career.

I had the same issue, but for a different reason. I suspect my game has culled Roberto Crinkletop - I did not add him to a household or kill him - and no mysterious rancher is showing up. It’s been more than four in-game weeks. A mysterious rancher doesn’t show up to buy nectar, or with a welcome wagon, and there’s no mysterious rancher npc listed on the info board. Roberto Crinkletop also does not show up in the relationship panel of sims like the Grove family, who start the game with a relationship with him. The save that this happened in had over 500 sims in “my households” so it’s culling sims almost as soon as I enter live mode. For any other household, I can prevent this by moving them into “my households,” but I can’t do that with Roberto Crinkletop because he doesn’t show up in household management.

@Goldenburg22 How long did you play after adding the Sim to your household ? Might take a moment or a certain event to trigger the generation of a new one.

@Goldenburg22Hi thereI've never lived in other areas, so I don't know, but when I moved to Palomino Junction, the mysterious rancher came to the Welcome Wagon. Why don't you try it?Hope this help.

Hi there, I have faced an issue with the Sims 4 Horse Ranch pack. After i add mysterious rancher roberto crinkletop to my household, when i checked on the community board, there is no new npc generate for this role, see the screenshot, it only shows horse trainer left. I have played for one week and there isnt any new NPC to replace the mysterious rancher. I believe this might be a bug.
You have mentioned it might need a certain event to generate a new one, may I know what event you refer to?

@Goldenburg22 I don't know what would trigger it. That was rather a vague description. Maybe buy something at the Store ? Walk around the part of town he normally appears ?

I have tried everything (move to Palomino Junction, buy goods from grocery store, walk around equestrian center and grocery store) but it does not bring any new NPC for the mysterious rancher role...😢

Sorry to hear that.
Since the Pack has just been released, there may be little information.
For now, it may be the only way to do it, such as patiently trying to talk to the premade NPCs in Chestnut Ridge World, or deepening exchanges.
I hope your problem is resolved.

@Goldenburg22 I'd assume he still has the corresponding trait to make him the Mysterious Rancher, since you added him via a debug cheat, so the game does not generate a new one. I'm not sure if it would show in the traits panel though, maybe it's completely invisible and you would need a cheat to check that.
And I'm not even sure if you could have added him to your household regularly without any cheats, because the game unfortunately treats the HR NPCs quite differently (you can't even invite them to any lots for example).

As for now, I have played more than two sim weeks time after adding the rancher. This is the new save i used for testing (add rancher to household via cheat). Previously, I used my main save, when i check on the community board, it only shows horse trainer npc as per screenshot i have attached before. I believe the original npc has died by accident as I am not able to find him anywhere. I kept waiting days by days hoping he would appear in the areas that he normally would be. Since this type of NPC is unique (not able to search through household management), I have no idea what happened to him (most probably died by accident). Hence, i am now stuck with no available mysterious rancher npc for my main game, which i really hope for a solution for this as I really didnt want to give up my main save (use this save since 2021) and recreate a new one (which will be a lot to work on).
